The Youth Rodeo project was one I stumbled upon when taking a
breather from the normal routine and trying to get out and visually
stretch my eyes. The children were competing over a few nights by
seeing if they could ride, strangle and hold onto sheep in any way
possible. Although some parents were really into it, it seemed the
vast majority were there for their kids. Outside, I simply tried to pick
up on the flavor of the North Texas State Fair by still
concentrating on the younger participants, but also by having an eye
toward creating a timepiece – the clothing, the looks and the
innocence of youth.
